The business of Maddock Joinery Manufacture (MJM) started in 2015, but my journey with the workshop started long before that, just after I left school. At the age of 16 I started my apprenticeship with Pert Bruce in this very workshop, learning the craft and skill from my peers and college work. In 2013 I was enticed by the bright lights of oil & gas but it was short lived as I really missed the creative and problem solving challenge that manufacturing provided.
In 2015 I was offered the opportunity to take on the workshop on a leased basis and the rest they say is history! We have now grown to a team of four, and between us we have a over 40 years of experience in manufacturing timber products.
